New to my makeup collection

It’s no secret I can’t keep from buying makeup. I have to admit it’s a little bit of an addiction. I definitely don’t need more products, especially cause 5 days out of 7 I barely wear anything of the stuff I own.

But there’s nothing that I like more than going to the stores to find out new stuff and testing it and photographing it! And I need new stuff for this blog, right? That always seems to be the perfect excuse!

Here is the stuff I got in the past few months:

Urban Decay Naked Heat

This one has quickly become one of my favourites all time palettes. Full review here.

Benefit Ka-Brow

I never really liked brow pomades, mostly because I’m not good at applying them. That didn’t stop me from splurging on this one. I only tried it a couple of times, I don’t know how I feel about this yet.

Maybelline Master Strobing Liquid Illuminating Highlighter Light

This is one of the first things I got, but I only tried it once. Honestly, I didn’t have a good experience. But first impressions aren’t always right, I’m going to give it another shot. I just haven’t been feeling like it yet.

Kat Von D Everlasting Liquid Lipstick Bow n Arrow

I wasn’t sure I wanted to take the plunge on this lipstick, but I’m so glad I did! Full review here.

Anastasia Beverly Hills Liquid Glow Perla

I’m so glad I picked this one up because it was a bit of last minute afterthought. It is one of my favourite highlighters, liquid and powder.

Becca Glow on the Go Highlighter Set

It includes their highlighter Opal in both powder and liquid form in travel size. I thought this was the perfect way to try some Becca products without spending too much. I remember Opal being raved about for lighter skin tones (I might be wrong) so I was a little disappointed to find it was darker than I expected. Other than that they’re good products, although I have tried better stuff before

Anastasia Beverly Hills Subculture Palette

My favourite palette this year colour selection wise. The formula is a little tricky but I don’t mind it at all. Full review here.

Essence Extreme Lasting Eye Pencil Blacklove

Best black eye pencil I have tried to date. Somehow I never bring myself to buy basic products, so I get them from essence when I’d rather spend the big money on other stuff. Super black, very long lasting. Two thumbs up from me.

Maybelline Super Stay Matte Ink Loyalist and Heroine

I didn’t even realise that these were released in my country. So of course, when I saw them at my local drugstore I just had to buy a couple (I mean, they were on sale). I don’t mind the formula, even though it doesn’t come near to my favourite ones.
